SYNOPSIS:
Eddie Felson is a young, arrogant, and amoral man who frequents pool halls with success. Determined to be proclaimed the best, he seeks out Minnesota Fats, a legendary pool champion. When he finally manages to face him, his lack of confidence causes him to fail. The love of a lonely woman might help him abandon that kind of life, but Eddie will not rest until he defeats the champion, no matter the price he has to pay.
