XXI Edition of the SREC Festival: CINEMA AND MIGRATION
The 21st edition of SREC will once again be held as usual at the Víctor Jara Theater in Vecindario, including in its program, in addition to the screenings open to the public, sessions dedicated to the school community, exhibitions, meetings and discussions with invited directors, as well as DJ sessions. This year, the theme chosen by Gran Angular is ‘Cinema and Migration’, a brave commitment to approach, through cinematography, one of the most pressing and complex realities of our time.
The San Rafael en Corto International Short Film Festival (SREC), promoted by the Gran Angular Cultural Association, has the support of the Santa Lucía de Tirajana city council, the Ministry of Culture of the Government of the Canary Islands through the Canarian Institute of Cultural Development and Filmoteca Canaria, the Ministry of Culture of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands Film and Radio Televisión Canaria.
