Mexican singer Alex Fernández —heir to one of the most emblematic dynasties of ranchera music— takes a firm step towards the internationalization of his career with the release of his new single ¿Quién no ha llorado por amor? (Who hasn't cried for love?) and the announcement of his first tour of Spain, which will take place in December 2025. Son of Alejandro Fernández and grandson of the legendary Vicente Fernández, Alex has decided to forge his own path with his own voice. With this new song, the artist begins a new artistic stage that fuses the essence of traditional mariachi with the nuances of contemporary pop. The result is a fresh, modern, and deeply emotional proposal, which he himself has called mariachi-pop.
“I feel like this is my true beginning. I am building something that sounds like me,” affirms the singer, who begins this new stage hand in hand with DBM Music, a record label with which he will seek to expand his proposal to new audiences.
The song ¿Quién no ha llorado por amor? (Who hasn't cried for love?), available on all digital platforms since May 23, 2025, sets the tone for what will be his new repertoire: songs that combine the interpretive power of bolero ranchero with a current and universal production.
As part of this new stage, Alex Fernández will arrive in Spain for the first time with a series of solo performances that will take him to the cities of Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, and the Canary Islands, thus consolidating his commitment to conquer the Spanish public with a proposal that pays homage to his roots and, at the same time, dialogues with the sensibilities of the present.
