Concert — St John Passion at Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Karel Mark Chichon leads this major commitment to the symphonic-choral repertoire with the performance of Johann Sebastian Bach's St John Passion. This masterpiece of extraordinary expressive power, where the spiritual and the dramatic achieve a perfect synthesis, will feature a staging directed by Mario Pontiggia. The Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra will be accompanied by the prestigious Latvian Radio Choir and a strong vocal cast featuring Kateryna Kasper, Adèle Charvet, Raoul Steffani and the Canarian soloists Gabriel Álvarez and Fernando Campero.
