Dance with TRÍPTICO#2 by ESTÉVEZ/PAÑOS AND COMPANY at the Guiniguada Theater, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Enjoy three choreographies in one: Meter los pies, Nondedéu, and Silencios. This program by Estévez/Paños, within the framework of the state circuit ‘Danza a escena’, presents short pieces united by the mutual assistance between the dancers through voice, lighting, and their bodies. In ‘Meter los pies’, the flamenco dancers present themselves as rhythm machines, transmitting the legacy of patriarchs of flamenco footwork. ‘Nondedéu’ explores the relationship between flamenco singing and dance. ‘Silencios’ presents Estévez and Paños face to face, building a conversation from the rawness of silence.
