Sport – Gran Canaria Bike Week

Sport – Gran Canaria Bike Week, from November 30 to December 7 across the island.

With the participation of multi-champion cyclist, Tadej Pogacar -four-time Tour de France champion- and other international level cyclists in some of its stages.

Specifically, there will be 700 participants in the TotalEnergies Gran Fondo Pico de las Nieves, where we will see Pogacar and company. In the rest of the stages there will be an average of 200 cyclists (45% from outside Spain and 20% women) for a total of 550 kilometers distributed in 7 stages between the municipalities of Arucas, Artenara, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Telde, Gáldar, Agüimes, Santa Lucía, San Mateo, Teror, Valsequillo and Santa Brígida.

• 1 Dec – Free Stage.
• 2 Dec – AGÜIMES – Rural Southeast. 98.38 Km | 1.505 m accumulated elevation gain
• 3 Dec – TELDE – Mid-Island Villages. 84.30 Km | 1.928 m accumulated elevation gain
• 4 Dec – Maspalomas Costa Canaria (hill climb time trial). 61.04 Km | 1.434 m positive elevation gain
• 5 Dec – SANTA LUCÍA – Gran Canaria Summit. 82.03 Km | 1.736 m accumulated elevation gain
• 6 Dec – GÁLDAR – Green North of Gran Canaria Island. 64.25 Km | +1.416 m accumulated elevation gain
• 7 Dec – DUNES – Love Gran Canaria. 43.85 Km | 854 m positive elevation gain
