Here is the program for the Farmer's Festival 2026. Vega de San Mateo will once again pay tribute to its agricultural and livestock roots on July 4th and 5th with a new edition of the traditional Farmer's Festival.

This year we are once again fulfilling these traditional festivals, maintaining tradition and innovating, but always recognizing the leading role of agriculture and livestock in our municipality.

SATURDAY, JULY 4TH
Solidarity Square
10:00 AM Opening of the 1st Vega de San Mateo Potato Fair.
11:00 AM Children's workshops.
11:00 AM Recognition of Vega farmers.
Following this, performance by Parranda Global.
12:30 PM Tasting of Vega potatoes and pata.
Organized by: Department of Fairs and Department of Agriculture and Livestock of the Vega de San Mateo City Council.
In collaboration with: ADAGA Canarias.

SUNDAY, JULY 5TH
11:00 AM Sheep shearing, cattle threshing, cow and sheep milking.
Plaza de Los Gofiones.
11:30 AM Parade of the Folkloric Group Los Indianos de Las Lagunetas through the Agricultural Market.
12:00 PM Tasting of local products in the aisles of the Agricultural Market. Organized by: Agrogest.
12:30 PM Horse threshing.
Rear of the Municipal Sports Center.
Organized by: Department of Festivals of the Vega de San Mateo City Council.
