The Proclamation of the Foundational Festivities of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, by Lourdes Santana, regional director of Cadena SER in the Canary Islands and a leading figure in journalism on the islands, marks the symbolic and emotional start of the city's festive calendar. Born and raised in the capital, Santana has built a professional career recognized for her commitment to information, culture, and citizenship, values that have made her a voice deeply linked to the urban identity of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

After the proclamation, the Gran Canaria Big Band, nearing its 30th anniversary, presents an artistic proposal that unites tradition and modernity through the sound of great Big Bands and the city's festive imagination. On stage, the Gran Canaria Big Band will share the space with Abraham Ramos and Beatriz Pérez, creating a musical dialogue that honors roots and looks to the future.
