Opening – Exhibition: Building Collection

Opening of the Exhibition ‘Building Collection’ at the Atlantic Center of Modern Art, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Building Collection is a collective exhibition that brings together a selection of five works recently acquired by the Atlantic Center of Modern Art (CAAM), of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, which have now become part of the holdings of this cultural institution. The exhibition proposal is in line with the contemporary art center's approach of showing the public the creations from the CAAM Collection through various exhibition projects.

Three of the works included in the exhibition are by Canarian artists Esther Aldaz, Teresa Arozena, and Yapci Ramos, and the two remaining pieces are by two American artists from the Caribbean region: the Hispanic-Cuban Carlos Garaicoa and the Puerto Rican Karlo Andrei Ibarra.

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 21:00 h and Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00 h.
