Opening of the Exhibition «Women of Telde: Emotions Speak» at the San Pedro Mártir Hospital Church, Telde, Gran Canaria.
The San Pedro Mártir Hospital Church hosts the second edition of Women of Telde: Emotions Speak, a multidisciplinary cultural project that brings together 48 artists and poets. This initiative, supported by the Department of Culture of the Telde City Council and the municipal company GESTEL, delves into rare diseases and health processes through art as a refuge and tool for resilience. The exhibition integrates painting, poetry, music, and emotional well-being in a proposal of great human commitment.
The official opening will be held on Thursday, February 26, at 7:00 PM, with the screening of a promotional video, performances by the Telde Municipal School of Music, Dance and Theatre, a poetic recital by the collective, and the musical closing by Cantares Estudio Coral. Complementing the exhibition, on Friday, February 27, at 6:00 PM, a talk-colloquium will take place on the occasion of World Rare Disease Day. Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
