Book Presentation «Astronomers of the Past» at the Cultural Circle of Telde, Gran Canaria.

Did you know that the ancient Canarians had an advanced knowledge of the sky and its relationship with the earth?

This Friday, March 27th at 8:00 PM, we meet at the Cultural Circle of Telde (former Count's Mill) for the presentation of Astronomers of the Past, the first major journalistic investigation into archaeoastronomy in the Canary Islands.

We will feature its author, journalist Luis Socorro, who, after a year visiting 40 archaeological sites throughout the Archipelago, will reveal how science and indigenous history intertwine under our sky.

Luis Socorro presents his latest book on indigenous cultural heritage in an event that invites us to reconnect with our memory.
