Presentation of the Book «Wild Innocence: The Jarrapas Girls of Andrea Abreu» at Café d’Espacio, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

On June 10th at 8:00 PM, we will present at Café d’Espacio the essay and artistic exhibition "Wild Innocence: The Jarrapas Girls of Andrea Abreu.".

Its author, Sandra González Reina (Margullito), addresses the female childhood perspective in Andrea Abreu's novel "Panza de burro" through literary and visual languages, and delves into the critical sense that this perspective offers when addressing Canary Islands sociopolitical issues.

The essay, published in the collection "El 7 de la lengua" by Mercurio Editorial, dialogues with an illustrated interpretation conceived as a visual extension of this literary reflection.

The presentation will feature the voices of José Miguel Perera Santana and Nedá Pérez Missaghi, who will accompany us at this meeting.
