Presentation – Book: Presidents at the Foot of the Pier

Book Presentation ‘Presidents at the Foot of the Dock’ by Manuel Vidal at the Elder Museum, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The Federation of Logistics Operators and Port Services (Oneport) launches the book Presidents at the Foot of the Dock, a work by journalist Manuel Vidal that rescues the historical memory of the 28 presidents who have forged the destiny of this institution.

Throughout its pages, the book details how the institution has navigated through global historical challenges, including the international conflicts of the World Wars and the Spanish Civil War, logistical crises such as the closure of the Suez Canal and its repercussions in the Canary Islands, milestones such as the integration of the ports of Arrecife and Puerto del Rosario in 1988, and the incorporation of Arinaga in 1992.
