Book Presentation «And suddenly, Cofete» at the Círculo Mercantil of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Next March 13th at 7:30 PM, the author Alejandro González Cortés presents the novel And suddenly, Cofete at the Círculo Mercantil of Las Palmas. The story takes us to Cofete, one of the wildest and most fascinating places in Fuerteventura, where a young doctor arrives to practice in the south of the island. From there, the lives of several 'majorero' characters intertwine over more than three decades of the turbulent 20th century. A novel that speaks of friendship, human relationships, and memory, in a historical context marked by the changes and difficulties of a complex era in Spain. An opportunity to meet the author, discover his work, and converse about literature and historical memory.
