#Arucas celebrates World Bee Day with a new Family Hiking day at a beekeeping farm.
🍯 In May, World Bee Day is commemorated, and the Department of Environment wants to celebrate it with the users of the Family Hiking Program. On Saturday, May 23, a new Family Hiking activity will take place, this time with a visit to a beekeeping farm at the Verdejo Nature Classroom, where participants can learn about the importance and role of bees and the work of the beekeeper.
Registration will open on Monday, May 18, starting at nine in the morning, through a link enabled on the social media of #radioarucas and on the Konvoko application.
The objective of these activities is to make citizens aware of the different natural spaces in the municipality of Arucas, while also highlighting the richness of the ecosystems with their environmental and historical values and teaching beneficial habits for the planet.
