Workshop – «Fire Ponies» Casino

Taller — Caballitos de Fuego en el Casino de Gáldar, Gran Canaria.

Experience the Santiago Festivals from within and learn to create one of its most emblematic symbols: the fire horses. The Department of Addiction Prevention of the Gáldar City Council, through the Street Educators Program, is launching a new edition of the fire horse making workshops, an opportunity to learn, share, and keep alive one of the most unique and beloved traditions of our festivals.

Activity aimed at young people and adults that combines creativity, coexistence, and participation, allowing attendees to create their own fire horse to become part of one of the most emblematic images of the Santiago Major Festivals.

Dates and locations:
Club del Mayor Estrella del Norte: Tuesday, June 30 and Thursday, July 2, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Quintogal Neighborhood Association: Tuesday, July 7 and Thursday, July 9, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Casino de Gáldar: Monday, July 13 and Wednesday, July 15, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
