Workshop — Care in the center at the Plaza de los Derechos Humanos, Arucas, Gran Canaria.

Registration is open for the workshops aimed at caregivers. The activity will take place on June 25 and July 2 at Plaza de los Derechos Humanos, n.º 3, in Arucas.

The Department of Equality Policies of the Arucas City Council is launching a new edition of the "Cuidados en el centro" project, an initiative aimed at caregivers in the municipality, organized by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and Marviz Consultoría.

The activity aims to offer a meeting space where tools will be provided to contribute to the personal and emotional well-being of the participants, as well as the strengthening of community support networks.

The sessions will be developed with a participatory methodology, through which reflection on the impact of care tasks on daily life will be encouraged and strategies will be provided to cope with the physical and emotional overload that these may generate.

The activity is free and will take place at Plaza de los Derechos Humanos, n.º 3, Department of Equality, on June 25 and July 2, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

This initiative continues the work carried out in previous editions through the "Cuidadoras Cuidándose" project, which allowed for the support of numerous women from different municipalities of Gran Canaria, through actions focused on self-care, active listening, and the exchange of experiences.
