Theater – «Caligula»
Theater — Caligula in the Auditorium of Humanities, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
What happens when someone with all the power decides that the rules don't apply to them?
The Theater Club of the ULPGC Theater Workshop brings Caligula, by Albert Camus, to the stage. A classic of the theater of the absurd that speaks of power, impunity, and limitless freedom, with a Roman emperor who could have many faces today.
A man with absolute power, without moral limits and convinced that his freedom justifies everything. The suit has changed. The logic, not. The question the play poses is simple, has anything changed eighty years later?
Auditorium of Humanities.
Free admission until full capacity.
