SYNOPSIS
Pierre and Cecil, two old friends, meet again after many years. Their conversation, intermingled with memories and reflections, is permeated by the wait for a mysterious author who will never arrive. Or perhaps he has been present from the beginning?
Essence is one of Ignacio García May's most enigmatic works, a labyrinth of perceptions where reality falters and becomes diffuse. An invitation to reflection and to questioning our own certainties, an exploration of the reality that surrounds us. Essence is the very non-existence of the real.
