This play that tears and caresses at the same time is inspired by the Eight monologues of Franca Rame. These monologues are a cry, a confession, a search. A show that gives voice to women who have been silenced, judged, and forgotten and who share the same wound: loneliness.
FRANCA is not just the name of a woman. It is a way of speaking, of being, and of resisting. FRANCA is a raw, physical, and honest proposal, where the text merges with the performative, where the personal is political, and where being frank becomes an act of resistance.
