In an archipelago where opportunities seem to pass as slowly as the 91, Meryem, a 25-year-old woman, tries to find her place between working at Supersaurio, the most important supermarket chain in the Canary Islands, and the expectations the world imposes on her. Canarian by birth and Moroccan by roots, her life is a constant search for identity and belonging.
Fanfiction, disastrous dates, excessive coffee, and a routine that seems endless, make up Meryem's daily life. As she navigates the murky waters of the generational gap, false meritocracy, job insecurity, mass tourism, and the housing crisis, she repeats to herself every morning that she won't inherit the company… although sometimes she forgets…
