SYNOPSIS
For IVAN, today is his last day of therapy, which he has been attending for five years. His psychologist has asked him, as a farewell, to reflect on what he has learned there.
He has been caught in the spiral of nightlife for many years. As he says: “my problem isn't the parties, it's the hangovers.” This, coupled with his inability to say “no” to certain situations and express what he feels, has prevented him from growing as a person. IVÁN will tell us with great humor how he has faced his fears, loneliness, rejection, love, his prejudices, failure, and commitment. In short, how he has come to accept himself as he is.
ABOUT THE PLAY
The excuse for telling this story is nightlife and parties. A superficial world in which almost everyone moves perfectly. And Sundays? Who are we? It's a journey into the depths of human behavior. Whoever you are, whoever you love, or if you love no one, you will always have something to improve or something you've been dragging for years that you don't dare to fix, and you always fall back into it. And you always dodge it again… Until you can't anymore.
One of the fundamental pillars of this proposal is the consumption of narcotics, experiences, bodies, people, feelings… The basis of the type of relationships we are establishing.
A story told with great humor, music, and dance, but speaking blunt truths. Questioning everything established. Without answering anything, but asking many questions. Let the viewer answer them if they wish.
