Art — III Quick Painting Contest «Santa Brígida is a Painting» at the Headquarters of the Drago de Sataute Sociocultural Association, Santa Brígida, Gran Canaria.

Santa Brígida will once again become a large canvas with the celebration of the III Quick Painting Contest Santa Brígida is a Painting, an initiative of the Drago de Sataute Sociocultural Association that is part of the commemoration of its XX Anniversary. The contest will take place on Saturday, May 16 and proposes an intense artistic challenge to participants: to capture the essence of the municipality in a few hours. Streets, historic corners, traditional architecture, and ethnographic elements will be the protagonists of the works created on-site.

Rules and participation
The call is open to all persons over 16 years of age. Minors of said age may also participate as long as they provide an authorization signed by their legal guardian. The rules are now available for consultation at https://dragodesataute.blogspot.com/

Registrations must be made exclusively online between May 1 and May 15, through the official form that the organization will provide.

Hours
On the day of the event, it will begin at 09:30 hours at the association's headquarters, where registration and canvas stamping will take place. At 10:00 hours, artistic creation will officially begin in different parts of the urban area, and from 11:30 hours, the jury will begin touring the work areas to assess the creative process. All works must be finished and exhibited in the Plaza de la Iglesia at 17:00 hours, where they will be visible to the public. The jury's decision and the award ceremony will be held at 18:30 hours.

Awards
Monetary endowment of 1,000 euros distributed in three prizes: 500 euros for the first prize, 300 euros for the second, and 200 euros for the third.
