Gastronomy — «Four-hands pairing dinner» La Trastienda de Chago + La Jícara Tasca at La Trastienda de Chago, Gáldar, Gran Canaria.

On July 9, our kitchen will stop speaking for itself. We open the doors of La Trastienda de Chago to welcome Samuel Cárdenes, from La Jícara Tasca, and build a four-hands dinner together.

For one night, Gáldar will be the meeting point for two ways of understanding cuisine. Carmelo Mujica will bring to the table three creations born in this house. Samuel Cárdenes will bring another three with the character and fire of La Jícara. The dessert will close a night in which each kitchen will retain its voice, but none will cook separately.

There will be six courses and a dessert, accompanied by a pairing designed to join the game, link the flavors, and make each dish enjoyable in a different way.

We come to discover what happens when two chefs share space, ideas, and the desire to put on a night unlike any other.
