Literature – Un brin de causette

Literature – «A little chat» at the Municipal Library of Santa Brígida, Gran Canaria.

The Santa Brígida Library will host on March 6 a cultural proposal from the Official Language School that invites participants to immerse themselves in the French language through reading, conversation, and creativity. Under the title Un brin de causette : Moi, toi, la lecture et Jules Verne , and with the collaboration of Veronique, the activity offers a participatory experience inspired by the universe of the writer Jules Verne .

The meeting will take place between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM , with a dynamic format designed for those who wish to practice French in a relaxed and cultural environment. The session will begin with a reading and conversation space in French, where participants can comment on texts and share impressions in a guided manner.

In the middle of the afternoon there will be a coffee break , conceived as a moment to continue conversing informally, before moving on to the last part of the program: a creative writing workshop , in which imagination and language combine to create short texts inspired by the work and spirit of the French author.

The activity is free and open to all, although it is recommended to reserve a spot in advance by writing to sartrodb@canariaseducacion.es . To be able to follow the session, a basic level of French and being over 14 years old are required.

An opportunity to practice the language, meet other people with similar interests, and enjoy literature from a creative perspective.
