Literature — XXII Story Marathon in Santa Ana Square, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Registration open to participate in the XXII Story Marathon of the Gran Canaria Island Library. Friday, May 8, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 00:00 a.m.

Under the motto Let's tell lies. 200 years with Collodi and Pinocchio, this edition proposes an event linked to the literary universe of Carlo Collodi, taking as reference the figure of Pinocchio and the value of storytelling as a space for imagination, transmission, and encounter between generations.

The day will once again bring together storytellers and the general public on a day dedicated to the spoken word, shared reading, and cultural participation.

Collaboration of the Salsipuedes cultural association: dramatization of four stories in four courtyards near Santa Ana Square.

Schedules by audience:
– Children's and family audience: from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
– Adult audience: from 8:30 p.m. to 00:00 a.m.

Registration deadlines:
– Until April 24 for schools, educational centers and other entities, and for collective participation.
– Until May 6 for individual participation.
